What Joy of Sailing adds
The vanilla sailboat now reacts to the wind. Left and right steer the boat, while forward and backward raise or lower the sail. Sprint and jump rotate the sail, letting you adjust its angle without leaving the boat.
For the best speed, set the sail so the wind reaches it from nearly a right angle. The mast flag helps judge the relationship between wind and sail, while alternating steering directions can add forward momentum through a sculling-like motion.
Holding both left and right for more than a second activates automatic sculling. Press either direction afterward to stop it. The mod also exposes a JSON library intended for custom sailboat packs.
