Just the Palisades is a Vintage Story mod by Svarrmir. Just the Palisades adds crafting recipes for Vintage Story's vanilla palisades and sharpened wooden stakes.
Why this mod is worth installing
Useful for players who want to build with the game's existing defensive wood blocks instead of obtaining them only through other means. It is also a small recipe-only dependency-free addition.
What Just the Palisades adds
The mod unlocks recipes for vanilla palisade pieces and sharpened wooden stakes. It does not introduce replacement blocks: the crafted results are the same defensive building elements already present in the base game.
A quarter-log block of any wood type placed in the bottom-center crafting slot produces eight inner palisade corners. These corners serve as the starting material for making the other palisade and stake variants.
Because the vanilla blocks use broad names such as “Palisade” and “Sharpened wooden stakes,” the in-game handbook and the included recipe overview are useful when choosing the exact shape you need.
How to craft
A quarter-log block placed in the bottom-center crafting slot produces eight inner palisade corners. The handbook can be used to find recipes for the remaining palisade and stake variants.
