What Just The Pepper adds
Bell pepper plants appear in the world like ordinary crops, but their seeds are obtained through harvesting rather than by simply breaking any plant. Mature or nearly mature plants provide fruit, which can be placed in the crafting grid to extract a seed.
Plants killed by excessive heat or cold can still yield a seed. Seeds may also turn up in cracked seed vessels, come from agriculture traders, or be found while looting ruins.
When Expanded Foods is present, chopping a bell pepper produces seeds as a byproduct, matching the idea that cutting the fruit exposes its seeds. The mod stays narrowly focused on making the existing bell pepper useful as a crop.
