This mod is useful for pottery-focused players who are tired of repeatedly loading pit kilns or leaving empty space inside a beehive kiln.
What Stackable Kiln Shelves adds
The mod introduces clay-formed kiln shelf supports and plates. Fired supports and a plate can be assembled into a shelf through the crafting grid or directly in the world, with an additional interaction creating another level for stacking.
Shelves accept items that can normally be placed on shelves, including crocks, bowls, pots, jugs, ingot molds, and helve hammer molds. This makes the beehive kiln much more practical for large pottery batches, with space for well over 200 suitable pieces.
After a long firing period, each shelf can become damaged, following the kiln's existing wear pattern. A damaged shelf still lets the current load finish and can be emptied, but it must be replaced before loading new items; recovered plates are common, while some supports may be lost.
