What K's Cartography Table adds

The advanced table expands this system to explored terrain. Map transcription is a manual, time-consuming action that can be paused and resumed, making cooperation feel like a physical in-world process rather than an instant menu operation.
The tables are craftable from the copper age and can be cleared with a knife. Optional sounds and animations communicate whether more information remains to be copied, reducing the need for chat notifications.
With Palantir installed, the advanced table can store special destinations for spiritual visions. Players can inspect distant areas for terrain and resources after preparing the corresponding waypoints.

The simple cartography table is shown as a shared waypoint board. Players can copy markers onto the table or transfer other players’ markers to their own maps, with edits potentially affecting everyone who uses that shared map.
Advanced cartography table
The advanced table supports sharing both waypoints and explored map areas. Copying the map requires holding the interaction button for an extended period, and the operation can be resumed later.
Palantir
A Palantir-enabled setup lets players preserve destinations and share visions of distant places. Waypoints for desired locations should be prepared on the map before beginning the journey.
