What K's Realistic Farming adds
Vegetables receive an extra growth stage and take a little longer to mature. At the mature stage they mainly provide food, while flowering plants can be harvested for seeds and plant debris.
Grains and legumes no longer provide seeds directly. Their mature harvest gives extra produce, and part of that harvest can be turned into seed packets for replanting.
Harvest timing matters: earlier stages can provide smaller or normal yields, while flowering vegetables support seed production and attract bees and butterflies. Pumpkins, pineapples, and licorice are left unchanged.
Choosing between food and seeds
The mod introduces a farming trade-off: harvest crops for food now or leave vegetables flowering to secure seeds for future planting.
