The pack focuses on large cats from the Machairodontinae subfamily. They behave as elusive predators rather than passive scenery, creating a serious threat when encountered in the wild and making unprotected livestock vulnerable.
Domestication requires an adult male and female of the same species to stay within ten blocks. The female must be fed enough portions for breeding, while the male needs at least one portion; food can be supplied on the ground or through a large trough.
Each species has its own diet and breeding requirements. After ten generations, the animals stop attacking the player, and after ten generations they also stop fleeing, with progress determined by the mother's generation.
