What Bookkeeper adds
Bookkeeper introduces a craftable lectern that scans nearby containers, tool racks, display cases, and shelves. Its ledger presents the contents as a searchable, paginated inventory, so you can check your stock from one location instead of opening storage blocks one by one.
The interface supports real-time name searches and category filters for food, tools, fuel, wood, wearables, ores and metals, and building materials. Matching items from different containers are consolidated into one result with a combined quantity, while distinct decorative storage variants remain separate.
The lectern is deliberately read-only: it does not withdraw, deposit, move, merge, or delete items. Middle-clicking a result highlights the containers that hold it with blue markers, through-wall labels, and temporary map waypoints; up to 20 locations can be marked, and the labels fade with distance.
