What Salty´s Manual: Shingles adds
Hold any clay in your main hand and right-click to knead a batch of shingles directly. The default yield is two shingles from one clay, while particles, sound, and hand animations make the action feel less like an instant recipe.
Bowls use a separate two-handed action: place clay in both hands and keep holding right-click. The mod also provides settings for crafting time, output amounts, clay consumption, and whether a table must be in view.
Enabling the table requirement prevents free-form kneading and makes shingles or bowls available only while working at a table, giving the convenience feature a Copper Age-style restriction.
Kneading shingles from clay
Hold any clay in your main hand and right-click to knead shingles. The default conversion produces two shingles from one clay.
Making a bowl with both hands
Place clay in the main and off hand, then hold right-click to create a bowl manually.
Optional table requirement
The table requirement can restrict kneading to moments when you are looking at a table, tying the feature to Copper Age progression.
