What Salty´s Mists of Stability adds
The mod marks unstable locations with brown particles and mist, while very stable areas receive a contrasting teal effect. This makes otherwise easy-to-miss environmental conditions visible while exploring or choosing a settlement site.
You can control visibility through two separate mechanics. A keybind can toggle the effects, while special necklaces determine which stability conditions become visible: the rusty gear necklace reveals unstable areas, and the temporal gear necklace reveals both unstable and very stable areas.
The mechanics can be combined, so the keybind can hide the effects even when a suitable necklace is equipped. Visual behavior can also be tuned through the mod’s configuration files, including the mist and particle presentation.
Client-side stability effects
The mod runs entirely on the client, so the server does not need to install it. Brown mist indicates that the player is in an unstable area.

Teal particles and mist mark a very stable area.
Necklace-based visibility
The effects can be controlled through necklaces or used alongside the keybind mechanic. A rusty gear necklace reveals unstable areas.
Compatibility with Temporal Doctor
When used with Temporal Doctor, the mist remains visible and disappears only while the temporal doctor mask is worn, depending on the configured behavior.
