More Animals is a Vintage Story mod by Catasteroid and sekelsta. More Animals adds four huntable and breedable game birds to temperate, tropical, and subarctic regions, each with distinct eggs, plumage, and meat yields.

Choose this mod if you want more wildlife to hunt, lure into enclosures, or raise for meat, feathers, and eggs. It also gives bird-focused husbandry more variety than vanilla chickens.
What More Animals adds
The mod introduces ring-necked pheasants, wild turkeys, golden pheasants, and capercaillies. Their habitats depend on climate and terrain: birds occupy grassy, shrubby, forested, tropical, temperate, or subarctic areas within their preferred temperature ranges.
Males and females have noticeably different appearances and calls, with males showing brighter plumage. The larger males generally provide more meat, while all four species yield more poultry meat and feathers than chickens.
These birds eat grain from small troughs and can also feed on grain scattered on the ground, making it possible to lure wild specimens into an enclosure. They can be caught with basket traps like other small animals.
Birds lay species-specific eggs and can use the vanilla hen box for incubation. Chicks mature into poults after seven days and become adults seven days later, while the birds can also sit on fertile eggs of different species.
