What More Candles 1.2.2 (1.2.3 Overhaul In Work) adds
More Candles expands the candle-making chain around three materials. Beeswax can be melted and purified into blocks, lard can be rendered and hardened, and soybean mash can be combined with soybean oil to create soywax. A flax fiber and two hardened material blocks produce the corresponding candle.
The mod adds colored candles by immersing a plain candle in two litres of dye. Colored wax and lard blocks support this broader system, while candle bundles return the appropriate candle type when broken. Candles can also be placed in compatible lanterns and vanilla chandeliers.
Wax processing uses the saucepan, small cauldron, or cauldron for different batch sizes. Liquid beeswax and soywax can dry into smaller quantities, and soywax blocks eventually rot. Beeswax and soywax can also coat raw cheese in the crafting grid so it can be prepared for aging.
Lighting receives a small overhaul: the oil lamp accepts liquid lard and waxes and needs a torch to ignite. The mod also adds plain beeswax and soywax candle drops to bony soil and expands trader offerings for dried materials and selected candles.
