What MoreDrifterLoot adds
MoreDrifterLoot expands the rewards available from drifters. Their drops are intentionally uncommon, so the mod does not replace normal mining or exploration, but it creates an alternative source for selected resources and makes repeated encounters more worthwhile.
The main gameplay change is most noticeable during storms. Instead of automatically sheltering until the danger passes, players can choose to track and defeat drifters for a small chance at useful materials, accepting the combat risk and uncertain results.
Drifters can now produce more items than their former internal inventory could safely hold. Their carried loot is therefore released onto the ground on death, while the corpse disappears much sooner, removing the need to harvest or skin it.
