The mod makes high-fertility soil appear more often in newly generated terrain. It targets the deposits that normally occur inside low- or medium-fertility soil in suitable temperate regions with regular rainfall.
Several strength options are provided: 2x, 10x, and 40x. The strongest variant gives the generator an additional chance to create a deposit, making rich soil considerably easier to locate during exploration.
The change applies to terrain generated after the mod is used, so it is most useful when starting a new world or exploring unexplored areas. Existing chunks are not retroactively filled with new deposits.
