Mushroomz is a Vintage Story mod by Zolgrim. Mushroomz adds utility mushrooms, mushroom farming, flower seed production, mushroom pies, ale, wine, and several crafting materials.

What Mushroomz adds
Mushroomz introduces a varied group of fungi with different survival temperatures, nutrition values, dyes, and uses. Dimple Cups provide blue dye, Waxcaps can yield red dye and wax, Golden Loaves work as a grain-like ingredient for flatbread or ale, while Plump Helmets can be brewed into Dwarven wine. Other mushrooms offer protein, vegetable or dairy saturation, silk fibers, and unusual effects, including the harmful Zubarf and poisonous Basilisk venom.
Mushroom cultivation uses a crafted substrate made from logs, rich soil or terra preta, grain, and dry grass. Ground-growing species need a broad dirt area around the planting spot, while tree-growing varieties must be placed on the correct log type according to their habitat. The system is designed to keep fungi productive without sunlight and through winter, although each species has its own temperature limit.
The mod also turns flowers into a renewable crop: use a knife with a flower to obtain seeds, then plant them in soil where the temperature and season are suitable. Additional processing includes fermenting Golden Loaves into ale, preparing mushroom pies, making Amadou from Tinder Hoofs and nitre for leather, and producing nitre by combining saltpeter with water in a barrel.
