What Mycodiversity adds
The mod introduces 37 mushrooms, with many inspired by species from the American Pacific Northwest. They appear according to forest and climate conditions, making mushroom hunting a more varied part of exploring the world.
Every added mushroom can be cooked with the base game's recipes and planted in planters or flowerpots. This gives foraged specimens a practical food use as well as a decorative one.
Several species can be processed into dyes, including blue, green, yellow, orange, red, and gray. Dye recipes use four mushrooms together with four liters of water, while spawn regions are assigned with attention to natural ranges and biome types.
