Why this mod is worth installing
This mod suits multiplayer servers that need visible, in-world communication for towns, shops, taverns, roleplay locations, and community tasks. It is also useful when chat messages are too temporary or easy to miss.
What Notice Board adds
Place a Notice Board on a wall or on the ground, then add separate messages to it. Each board stores its own notices, so one block can serve as a town bulletin, shop wall, tavern board, to-do list, or newsletter display.
Players can read notices through the board interface or directly from the papers hanging on it. The block is available in wood and metal forms, and its recipe can be found in the Survival Handbook; creative mode can also be used to obtain it.
Posting access can be controlled with permission modes, making it possible to reserve editing, deletion, or bumping for selected players. The required Attribute Rendering Library must be installed on both the client and server.
Get one
The Notice Board can be obtained through its Survival Handbook recipe or spawned in creative mode. This screenshot introduces the board as a place for roleplay notices, advertisements, task lists, and newsletters.
Posting permissions
The mode settings determine who may post on the board and who can edit, delete, or bump existing notices.
