What Obsidiancraft adds
Obsidiancraft adds several stone-age alternatives. Bowyer characters can make crude obsidian arrows, while obsidian saws unlock woodworking earlier at the cost of low durability. Obsidian scythes and shears also provide practical plant-cutting and animal-care tools without requiring metal.
The weapon additions are the macuahuitl and tepoztopilli. The macuahuitl is a wooden sword fitted with obsidian teeth, while the tepoztopilli combines polearm reach with slashing and thrusting attacks; neither can match metal equipment for longevity.
Crafting depends on knapped obsidian parts, sticks, handles, bindings, resin, twine, and simple carving components. Material choices affect durability, so resin and bone options are more reliable than the weakest wooden or flax combinations.
