Of Hooves and Antlers is a Vintage Story mod by AladarCZ. Of Hooves and Antlers adds rideable moose to Vintage Story, including vanilla-colored and black variants available through the Treasure Trader.
Why this mod is worth installing
Choose this mod if you want a larger, more imposing mount selection without replacing the vanilla riding system. It is especially useful for players building a stable around elk-compatible equipment and new animal companions.
What Of Hooves and Antlers adds
Of Hooves and Antlers introduces a rideable moose in two appearances: the regular vanilla coloration and a black variant. Both can be obtained by trading with the Treasure Trader, giving your settlement a distinctive new mount option.
The moose uses the same general equipment compatibility as an elk, so items designed to fit elk can also be equipped on it. Compared with an elk, this mount moves somewhat more slowly but has slightly greater health, making it feel sturdier rather than faster.
