One Bed Sleeping is a Vintage Story mod by Apache. One Bed Sleeping lets multiplayer servers skip the night when only one player rests, with adjustable participation and hunger settings.
Why this mod is worth installing
This mod is useful for SMP groups that do not want to gather every online player in bed before morning arrives. Server administrators can tune the rule for small or large communities.
What One Bed Sleeping adds
One player sleeping is enough to advance the shared world to daytime, while the server can instead require a chosen percentage of online players. The percentage setting accepts values from 0 to 100, but at least one person must still sleep.
Sleeping can have a configurable saturation cost. The hunger reduction is controlled in small increments, allowing administrators to make overnight rest nearly free or noticeably consume food reserves.
The server can also disable sleeping entirely through the mod's administrative command. These controls make the mod suitable for communities with different night-cycle rules without changing the basic bed mechanic.
