What OrekiWoof's Simple Immersive Beehive adds
The block is crafted from boards, nails, and beeswax. Insert a populated skep, then place one to eight empty frames made from planks and linen. Bees process the frames one at a time, so the hive can be left working while you handle other tasks.
A colony begins with 5,000 bees and can grow to 50,000. Filled frames provide honeycombs, while leaving frames empty favors population growth; feed made from hive products offers a middle ground between harvesting and expansion.
Nearby plants receive a default 20% yield bonus after pollination. The effect can instead be configured as faster growth, or both benefits can be enabled. Production depends on bee population, flowers, temperature, and rain, so a warm, dry, flower-rich location performs best.
At high population and consistently warm weather, the hive can create a swarm that searches for an empty hive or skep. Optional winter rules can require food during freezing weather, and in-game commands allow settings to be adjusted without reloading.
