Ores-A-Plenty keeps the base game's general ore-generation logic, but raises the chances of finding deposits and increases their richness. Separate generation handling covers silver, gold, sylvite, metals, gems, and other vanilla minerals, while diamond can also generate in basalt.
The world-generation changes extend beyond ores. Terra preta may appear rarely, grass can spread, redwood becomes less common, and purple heart receives a small generation boost. These changes make exploration and farming progression less dependent on unusually lucky finds.
