What Pelagus Winds adds
Pelagus Winds periodically selects new directions for wind-related visual effects and blends between them instead of switching abruptly. Rain, dust, torch smoke, fire, leaves, bending plants, and dropped items can all reflect the changing airflow.
Clouds can follow the wind or receive their own randomized direction. The behavior is configurable, including how long a direction lasts, how quickly transitions occur, and whether cloud movement is disabled, linked to wind, or randomized independently.
In multiplayer, the server controls the changing directions and synchronizes them with connected players, keeping the weather presentation consistent. The mod changes visual wind effects rather than the weather system used by windmills.
