This mod suits players who want a slower, more involved way to turn gathered plants into temporary bonuses and drawbacks. It is especially useful for farming, exploration and roleplay-focused survival worlds.
What Pipeleaf adds
Pipeleaf lets you make several kinds of smoking pipes from materials such as clay, antler and treeheath burls. Pipes occupy the face slot, can be loaded with shag, and must be lit before they can be smoked.
Smokable material is prepared by fire-curing suitable flowers or herbs and grinding them in a quern. Cultivated pipeleaf provides a base for blends, while combining two herbs can produce mixtures with paired effects.
Smoking can influence temporal stability, body temperature, tiredness, appetite and intoxication. Effects combine according to their type, so a blend may strengthen some properties while limiting or worsening others.
Use a match or a crafted pipe lighter to ignite the bowl, then hold the smoking key to activate an available effect. A pipe can go out between uses, and dropping it in water clears and resets it.
