What Posts and Beams adds
The mod adds large posts and beam sections made from different log types. Posts provide a support factor of 8, while beams provide 6, compared with 3 for vanilla beams, making them valuable when stabilizing excavated spaces.
Placement changes depending on whether you are sneaking. Holding shift places one post or beam section at a time, while normal placement can automatically arrange connected posts and beams for faster construction.
Unconnected posts can accept a torch holder. Once a torch holder is attached, that post cannot connect to beams and supports only one holder, so lighting and structural planning need to be considered together.
