The mod introduces two food-preserving blocks designed for long-term storage. They require no fuel, refilling, or regular maintenance, so their preservation effect remains active whenever food is stored inside.
The ice box slows dairy spoilage by 50% and provides eight inventory slots, matching the capacity of a basket. Other food categories follow the mod’s preservation behavior, while items without a recognized category decay at their normal rate.
Placing either container in a cellar can improve the resulting decay values further. Regional spoilage settings still affect the final rate, making the blocks suitable for persistent worlds and dedicated servers.
Custom models, placement sounds, and animations make the containers feel like integrated furniture rather than invisible storage upgrades.
