Trader Phone (Beta) is a Vintage Story mod by Spoonail. Trader Phone lets you call a registered trader remotely, view their stock and demand, and see when their offers refresh.

It suits players who want to compare trader offers without long journeys. The beta is best for single-player worlds or small servers with trusted friends.
What Trader Phone (Beta) adds
Trader Phone is a placeable utility block with several visual designs. The variants work alike, while the box version can also be changed into a wall-mounted form.
To use one, create a blank phone memo with parchment, then obtain a trader’s number either by using the memo directly on that trader or by entering the trader’s coordinates in the phone search screen. Register the written memo to the phone.
After registration, right-clicking the phone opens the assigned trader’s supply and demand information, available gears, and the remaining time before the next stock refresh. A phone can be reassigned with another written memo, and the same memo can be reused.
Written phone memos can be kept in scroll racks, bookshelves, and cabinets where supported. Holding one and using Ctrl plus right-click opens the map, marks the trader’s location, and can create a waypoint.
The beta currently has a chunk-loading issue when phones are used repeatedly, so large public servers may need caution.

Several Trader Phone appearances are available, including the original box design made from suitable metal components.

The box phone can be converted to its wall-mounted counterpart; the antique design uses a different decorative construction.

Create a blank memo
Place a Trader Phone and use parchment on it to create a blank phone number memo.
A blank memo can be used directly on a trader to request that trader’s phone number.
Using the blank memo on the trader produces a written phone number memo.
2-B. Phone number search
When the trader’s location is known, enter its coordinates in the Trader Phone search window and start the lookup.
If the search fails, verify the coordinates carefully; the height coordinate may need to be entered manually.
