What Fauna of the Stone Age: Rhinocerotidae adds
The pack introduces several rhinoceros species that inhabit steppe and jungle environments. They provide substantial amounts of meat, hide, and fat, but hunting them is risky because wild adults can charge the player.
Each species has its own pelt and horn materials. These resources support practical hide crafting as well as decorative head mounts and complete taxidermied body displays.
Rhinoceroses can be bred by keeping an adult male and female close together and feeding them according to their species diet. Their generations gradually become safer around players, while the animals remain hostile for much of the domestication process.
Their weak eyesight and nervous temperament create unusual encounters: rhinos react aggressively to creatures associated with rot and rust. Fly-covered carcasses can also suppress local spawns until the remains are removed, allowing players to influence where new rhinos appear.
