Salty Seawater is a Vintage Story mod by MarterKlavee. Salty Seawater adds barrel and cooking-pot recipes for recovering salt from seawater and brine, with different speed and efficiency.

Why this mod is worth installing
This mod suits players who want a practical salt source near the coast or a better use for stored brine. It is especially useful when choosing between quick processing in a cooking pot and economical processing in barrels.
What Salty Seawater adds
Salty Seawater introduces simple drying recipes for two liquids: seawater and brine. Both can be processed into salt, giving coastal settlements and food-preservation setups a more direct supply route.
The cooking pot completes the process faster, but consumes more liquid for each salt output. Barrels take better advantage of the ingredients: 10 liters of seawater produce one salt, while 2 liters of brine produce one salt.
For players who value speed, a cooking pot uses 15 liters of seawater for one salt or 6 liters of brine for two salt. For maximum recovery from brine, barrels are the more efficient choice.
