Scraps is a Vintage Story mod by Medeka. Scraps adds recipes for dismantling ruin clutter, recovering wood, metal, glass, linen pulp and other useful materials, while repairing selected ruined furniture and lamps.

This mod suits players who want ruined structures to provide useful resources instead of being decoration. It is especially helpful for salvaging materials and restoring atmospheric furniture for a homestead.
What Scraps adds
Scraps introduces tool-based recipes for breaking down ruin clutter. A saw processes aged wooden pieces into usable planks, a chisel recovers mostly iron with occasional brass from metal debris, and a hammer crushes glass-like objects into quartz materials.
Rotten books can be processed in a barrel to reclaim linen pulp. Containers and selected clutter may also return secondary materials, while ruined weapons, books, shelves, crates and barrels receive additional salvage options.
Some damaged furnishings can be repaired rather than dismantled. Broken lanterns, aged chests and Jonas lamps can be restored with suitable components, including temporal fluid made by combining Aqua Vitae with coarse temporal dust obtained from pulverized temporal gears.
