Seraph Leveling is a Vintage Story mod by Soareverix. Seraph Leveling adds action-based trait progression to Vintage Story: improve skills through mining, combat, clothing, armor, repairs, and eating.

Why this mod is worth installing
Choose this mod if you want character traits to grow through normal play instead of relying only on starting class bonuses. It is especially useful for turning class weaknesses into long-term goals.
What Seraph Leveling adds
Seraph Leveling tracks what your character does and rewards repeated practice. Mining with different pickaxes, dealing damage with various weapons, wearing new clothing and armor, repairing translocators, and maintaining full saturation can all improve related traits. Negative base traits can also be removed through suitable activities.
Progress is tied to individual equipment types in several skills. A copper pickaxe and a tin-bronze pickaxe keep separate advancement, so changing tools remains useful as each one reaches its next requirement. The same approach encourages experimenting with weapon and armor variants instead of using one permanent loadout.
Each skill has a configurable maximum, including bonuses such as mining speed and melee damage. Class advantages still matter early on, but continued practice lets every class approach the same endgame potential. Commands such as /trait can be used to inspect overall and skill-specific progress.
