What Shadehouse adds
Shadehouse adds slatted roof blocks that let you create a special growing room following the familiar greenhouse room rules. Crops inside receive a 5°C reduction to effective temperature, making hot-climate farming more reliable.
The shade pieces allow water to pass through, so irrigation can still reach the enclosed growing area. Matching wall and door blocks are available for a consistent wooden structure, while the basic shade roof provides the functional effect.
The set supports the vanilla wood styles and includes bamboo pieces, framed cloth shades in every cloth color, and cloth roof and wall variants with different cross-bar patterns. Leaves can also serve as shade blocks when enabled in the configuration.
Fruit trees recognize the shadehouse bonus as well as the greenhouse bonus. The mod is designed to work with several farming and temperature-related additions, though other mods that change room detection or crop growth may interfere.
