What SheyderMod adds
SheyderMod adds deferred lighting, advanced block lighting, mechanical shadows, and ground-truth ambient occlusion. Together, these effects give blocks, structures, and moving parts more depth while keeping the game’s hand-crafted appearance.
Sunlight receives a warmer overexposure treatment, while water can display screen-space reflections. Specular mapping adds material-specific highlights, making selected surfaces appear more like stone, metal, or other polished materials.
The mod includes a control panel opened by F8 by default, with the key changeable in the game controls after entering a world. Its shader package is intended to be used on its own rather than alongside another shader replacement.
Specular textures can be supplied by compatible mods by placing files beside their regular textures and adding the s_ prefix, such as s_path.png. Coverage is extensive but not universal, and player models and first-person hands are not currently supported.
