What Ship Shield Slots adds
Ship Shield Slots places five cosmetic attachment points along each side of a sailboat. Shields mounted there are displayed on the vessel rather than used as active equipment, so the feature is visual only.
The mounts accept round shields, making it possible to decorate the boat with a matching row of defensive gear. Blackguard and Crude shields are not supported, so those items cannot be displayed in these slots.
