What Snowshoes adds

Several crafting stages cover different parts of progression. Crude shoes are easy to make but fragile, wooden and wax-treated versions last longer, and metal variants provide the highest durability; sturdy leather improves the metal option further.
Snowshoes can be combined with selected fur boots to add warmth, with the warmest listed combination granting a larger temperature bonus. Fur versions can also be restored with common cloth materials, while normal repairs use rope, twine, or leather according to the shoe type.
Wooden shoes can use any preferred wood for appearance, and snowshoes can be stored on the ground or suitable racks. A handbook entry explains the snow-travel mechanics in-game, and server administrators can adjust durability, snow checks, and repair limits.
