What Sortable Storage adds
Place a vanilla chest, labeled chest, trunk, basket, or storage vessel in the crafting grid to turn it into a sortable version. The converted container keeps its usual role while gaining a sort button in the upper-right corner.
Pressing the button arranges items by their displayed names and combines compatible stacks. The feature is deliberately straightforward, making it convenient when you want tidier storage without a large set of inventory tools.
Sortable containers also work with Carry On and Deep Storage Device. A container can be returned to its normal form by crafting it again, while only one regular chest can be converted at a time because of recipe behavior.
