What Spawn Highlight - Reborn adds
Spawn Highlight - Reborn overlays nearby blocks with colors that explain whether drifters may spawn there. Red marks a valid spawn surface, while green indicates that non-natural light is strong enough to prevent spawning. Blocks that can never qualify, such as lower slabs or chiseled blocks, remain unmarked.
The check considers the block’s solid upper face, the space above it, and the block-sourced light level. Press Ctrl+L to toggle the overlay, or assign another key through Vintage Story controls.
On valid red blocks, optional danger labels show the highest drifter or shiver tier allowed by the block’s normalized depth. The color scale runs from safer green through increasingly dangerous shades to red, with violet identifying the special 4-star depth band.
