Ceiling Guard checks the space above you and reduces stepping when a tree canopy, floor, or other overhang leaves too little room. A forward probe can also anticipate obstacles during faster movement.
Several conditions make the feature more precise. You can restrict enhanced stepping to sprinting, disable it while sneaking for careful positioning, or prevent it from activating in mid-air.
A block blacklist helps avoid unwanted automatic climbs near objects such as ladders or traps. The mod can also operate in Speed-Only Mode alongside another system that controls step height, while server operators may enforce shared height and speed limits.
