Survival Categories is a Vintage Story mod by ZigTheHedge. Survival Categories expands the Vintage Story handbook with mod filters, bookmarks, collectible-code search, recipe yields, and mod names for blocks.

Useful for players who need to find content from large mod collections without switching to Creative mode. It also helps identify unfamiliar blocks, save frequently used handbook pages, and check crafting output.
What Survival Categories adds
The handbook gains access to creative categories from installed mods while you remain in Survival. Search prefixes make navigation faster: use # for category names, @ for a mod ID, and $ for collectible codes such as materials encoded in an item’s identifier.
Any item or block page can be added to a dedicated Bookmarks category. The handbook also shows the possible quantity produced by grid-crafting recipes, giving you a quick way to judge output before spending materials.
Blocks receive mod-name information so their source is easier to identify. With the required server-side support, renamed chiseled blocks also display their current custom names correctly in inventory tooltips.
