What Locust Taming adds
A Clockmaker can use a tuning spear to hack a bronze or corrupt locust. This class restriction makes the first step a specialized progression feature rather than an option available to every character.
After hacking, the locust can be tamed with metal parts. Each part adds 50% taming progress, so two successful contributions complete the stated progression and convert the creature into a PetAI pet.
