Temperature Height Tweak is a Vintage Story mod by Burneddi. Temperature Height Tweak changes elevation cooling to a sigmoid curve, keeping hills warmer before cooling faster at high altitude.

Why this mod is worth installing
Useful for players who find vanilla hills and highlands unrealistically cold after a modest climb. It is especially suited to new worlds where mountain snow and glaciers should match the revised climate.
What Temperature Height Tweak adds
Instead of reducing temperature by roughly the same amount for every block above sea level, the mod applies a sigmoid elevation curve. The initial cooling is much gentler, so a 60-block hill no longer causes such a dramatic temperature drop.
Cooling becomes noticeably stronger around 100 blocks above sea level and reaches the vanilla trend near 170 blocks. At still greater heights the curve flattens again, while areas below sea level retain the standard linear calculation.
The tuning is aimed at worlds about 320 blocks high. In shorter worlds the highest terrain will remain warmer, while taller worlds can become colder at their peaks; existing chunks may also keep snow and glacier features generated under the old temperature rules.
Temperature curve parameters
The screenshot presents the variables used to shape the elevation-temperature equation. Its graph compares height above sea level with median temperature before local climate effects are applied.
