What Terra Prety adds
Terra Prety reorganizes terrain on a continental scale. Broad plains tend to occupy inland areas, while hills and mountain belts form around them, giving large landmasses a clearer geographic structure.
Coastlines and islands are generally less abrupt, making shore travel and settlement easier. Oceans are broken up by islands, archipelagos, lagoons, atolls, and barrier islands instead of feeling like empty expanses.
Long mountain ranges can extend across continents and rise substantially above ordinary peaks. They are intentionally difficult to cross, creating natural boundaries between regions and making route planning more important.
The generator also includes distinctive spires and mound-shaped landforms. Terra Prety is designed around a taller world, so its terrain has room for broader elevation changes and more dramatic landscapes.
