What The Basics - Roleplay (RP) Proximity Chat and more! adds
The main feature is a separate proximity-chat tab for roleplay. Messages can use configurable speaking distances, while yelling and whispering let players adjust how far their character can be heard. Nicknames, automatic formatting, bold, and italics help keep in-character communication readable.
Players can assign and use configurable languages, restricting messages to characters who understand that language. Emotes and environment messages add actions, atmosphere, and non-verbal details without relying only on ordinary dialogue.
The mod also bundles practical server features: a notification when a world save begins, a reminder when at least half of the players are sleeping, and public player statistics covering deaths, player kills, and NPC kills.
A TPA system lets players request teleportation by spending a temporal gear. Administrators also receive a command for changing the durability of the item held in hand, which is useful for controlled repairs or server management.
Roleplay Proximity Chat System
The separate Proximity tab provides local chat intended for roleplay. Players can yell to reach farther or whisper to keep a conversation private.
Language-Based Conversations
Configurable languages limit who can understand a message, allowing servers to represent language barriers during roleplay.

Formatted Roleplay Text
