What The Critters Pack adds
The pack expands the animal life around the player with creatures such as squirrels, several duck varieties, yaks, crows and other small wildlife. Their behavior is not purely decorative: some animals search for food, avoid threats or interact with the surrounding ecosystem.
Ducks can look for seeds and berries, while selected birds may produce eggs. A duck nest can be crafted from simple natural materials, giving ducks a dedicated place to lay several eggs. Taming uses the normal in-game animal mechanics.
The added creatures broaden survival options through meat, eggs and other food-related drops. Yaks are harder to find, often appearing near mountains, and can be dangerous around their young, making them a more demanding but rewarding encounter.
