Threnkal is a Vintage Story mod by Murokyro. Threnkal adds a playable cow-folk race inspired by minotaurs and taurens, with a tall custom body and distinctive piercing options.
Why this mod is worth installing
Choose it if you want a sturdy, nature-oriented character with a striking bovine appearance. Player Model Library is required, and clothing support is broad but accessories such as necklaces and emblems may be limited.
What Threnkal adds
Threnkals are a playable race of cow-like people with an imposing build, though their size can vary. Their presentation suits characters connected with forests, foraging, cultivation, pack life, and a calm relationship with nature.
The race is designed around a custom player body, so its appearance differs from standard characters. Most vanilla clothing and nearly all armor can be used, while necklaces and emblems are the main accessory limitations.
Character customization includes bovine-themed piercings: circular barbells and single, double, or triple hoops for the ears, plus septum jewelry in ring and circular-barbell forms. These details help create anything from a decorated warrior to a more understated traveler.
