What Fauna of the Stone Age: Thylacinidae Plus adds
The current content focuses on the Tasmanian devil and Queensland devil, small carnivorous marsupials that are mainly active at night. They inhabit temperate, subtropical, and tropical areas, adding movement and hunting pressure outside the usual daytime cycle.
These animals can climb, so ordinary fences are not a complete solution. They may raid fruit bushes, hen houses, and other small farm animals, making placement of food and enclosures more important for players who keep settlements in their habitats.
Adults can be bred by keeping a male and female of the same species close together and feeding the female enough food, with the male needing at least one portion. Diets and required quantities differ by species, while successive generations gradually become less hostile and less likely to flee.
The animals provide distinctive pelts that can be turned into hide and full-body or head taxidermy mounts. Devils also search for carcasses that block spawning in the related FotSA series, helping clear those remains before normal wildlife spawning resumes.
