What TinkerTailor - Patchworks adds
Most vanilla clothing made from cloth or leather can be dismantled into the appropriate scraps. Shears improve the return for Tailors, while scraps can be sewn into Patchwork Cloth or Patchwork Leather; Tailors also receive a cheaper stitching option.
Patchwork Cloth supports a broad set of recipes, including the complete Survivor clothing set and selected class-restricted items. The material can also repair clothing, although it is less effective than a sewing kit.
The mod adds patchwork armor, a warm sewing hat, Scrap Twine, and a Patching Kit. Cloth scraps can become bandages with aqua vitae in the inventory or in larger batches using a barrel and slaked lime.
Patchwork materials are designed for normal storage workflows: they can be stacked, placed on the ground, shelved, stored in barrels and crates, and displayed on scroll racks. A zinc sulfate barrel can restore patchwork to ordinary cloth or leather, but with a substantial material loss.
