AnMiTech is a Vintage Story mod by Tonzag. AnMiTech adds historically inspired weapons, shields, and armor, from Mycenaean swords and Roman gear to samurai and nomad equipment.

What AnMiTech adds
AnMiTech expands the arsenal with weapons from several periods and cultures. The collection includes cast Mycenaean swords, the Roman gladius and pilum, a Viking-style Carolingian sword, battle axes, spears, a sax, and a heavy mace. Their descriptions suggest different uses: the mace trades speed for damage, the pilum is designed for throwing and armor penetration, while spears help maintain distance.
Later additions cover the landsknecht kriegsmesser and katzbalger, the fragile but devastating flamberge, a fast-cutting saber, and a well-balanced katana. This gives the equipment more visual identity while also making weapon choice meaningful for close combat, throwing, or rapid attacks.
The armor selection includes Roman lorica segmentata and its matching scutum, plus light and heavy nomad armor. The lighter nomad set supports archery, while the heavier version offers solid protection without demanding as many resources. A Japanese do-maru provides a more involved historical crafting goal, with its production inspired by traditional techniques.
