What Natural Trail Mod adds
Characters and animals trample grass and disturb brush as they move. Repeated traffic gradually turns a faint path into a more developed trail, road, or highway, with each stage improving movement speed slightly.
Unused routes slowly fade back into the landscape, so the world reflects current travel patterns rather than preserving every path forever. Snow is also compacted under passing entities, leaving visible tracks across winter terrain.
The mod adds a small chance for lake ice to break while someone is standing on it. Its behavior can be tuned for different play styles, including whether animals create trails, which foliage can be trampled, how large an entity must be, and how quickly paths disappear.
