What Universal Husbandry adds
Universal Husbandry adds husbandry behaviour to vanilla land mammals that normally cannot be bred. Females can look for suitable food, eat from troughs, become pregnant and produce offspring with improved generations.
The trough system also supports a wider range of feed, including vegetables, grains, grass, fruit mash, peanuts, berries, eggs and meat. This makes it possible to maintain farms with herbivores, omnivores and carnivorous bears.
The mod is useful for raising elk and creating a renewable supply of wolves when combined with a wolf-taming mod. Offspring from tamed elk are still born as higher-generation wild animals and must be tamed normally.
Fish are excluded because their vanilla behaviour relies on spawning and despawning in bodies of water rather than baby entities. Bear cubs are included, although their appearance may be a scaled version of the adult model.
